CAMP ALUMNI

Our Camp Alumni program was created and designed for individuals 18 years of age and above, who have participated in Xenophon’s Therapeutic Riding program, but have aged out.

The primary goal of the program is to further our participants’ basic education about horses including care, husbandry, nutritional needs, etc. It also provides the opportunity to interact with, groom, handle, and occasionally ride our horses. The benefits go much deeper as participants gain confidence through their personal connections with the horses and their pride in the tasks they accomplish.

Sessions are operated under the careful tutelage of instructor Lindsay Donahue who is trained and certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH)
